Thank you for choosing The Sealcoating Guys. Proper care after your sealcoat application is important to ensure the best appearance, durability, and longevity of your asphalt surface.

• Foot traffic: Please allow a minimum of 4 hours before walking on the newly sealed surface. 
• Vehicle traffic: Customers should wait at least 24 hours before driving on the sealcoat application. However, for best results and maximum durability, we strongly recommend waiting 48 hours whenever possible. 

Dry times may vary depending on temperature, humidity, shade, and weather conditions.

To maintain the appearance of your freshly sealed driveway or parking lot, please avoid contact with harsh chemicals or petroleum-based products. Certain products can cause chemical reactions that may leave noticeable discoloration or markings on the sealcoat surface.

Please avoid:

• Tire shine products 
• Bleach or chemical cleaners of any kind 
• Bug spray or insect repellents 
• Children’s play bubbles 
• Gasoline, oil, or other petroleum products whenever possible 

While these products may not damage the asphalt structurally, they can affect the cosmetic appearance of the sealcoat finish.

• Avoid sharp turns or heavy steering while parked during the first few days after application. 
• Do not place heavy objects, trailers, kickstands, or dumpsters on the surface until fully cured. 
• Weather conditions can affect cure time, so additional drying time may be necessary during cooler or humid conditions.
